The truth is that I criticised a local radio station. The truth is
that a lot of people criticised the local radio station. The truth is
that the local newspaper published many of these criticisms. The truth
is that the local newspaper holds it to be acceptable to criticise a
radio station. The truth is that a radio station is NOT above being
criticised. The truth is that a radio station is not above the law.
The truth is that several people went to the local newspapers with a
message similar to mine. The message was that local residents should
listen to any radio station other than the radio stations operating in
Sarnia. The message was that local residents should boycott the local
radio stations.
Reality time!
The reality is that the message of these *other* people would have
carried far more weight than the message delivered by Radio Watch
Sarnia. The reality is that Ron Dann of Blackburn Radio Incorporated
would have or should have been feeling public pressure over his poor
management decisions. The reality is that Ron Dann of Blackburn Radio
Incorporated needed an out. And that out was to demonize the founder
of Radio Watch Sarnia and to rally the community behind a common enemy.
And this is precisely what Blackburn Radio Incorporated did.
Through a systematic campaign of slander, false allegations, harassment,
provocation, and surveillance, Ron Dann and his criminal cohorts set out
to make Radio Watch Sarnia their scapegoat.
It's over! Radio Watch Sarnia ended in June 2001. It was never about
a girl. The founder of Radio Watch Sarnia is not guilty of any of the
allegations levelled against him by Ron Dann and his criminal
colleagues. It is time for justice!
