Yes you will have to inform you regarding your marriage.

Your fiance will have to settle in Canada in order for him to be able
to sponsor you. You can keep your present application in London and
just await that status. In regards to processing times, at this time
you might be best off not to look at spousal sponsorship, since this
might take at least one year when you apply while you are in Canada.

Please make sure to inform CIC regarding any changes in your live like
marriage, birth of a child etc.
