police certificate after being in Canada Posted on: Fri, 09 May 2008 00:14:06 +0200

I am Italian and applying for my study permit to Canada. I want to take
my wife with me with an open work permit. She is Sri Lankan and left her
country at the age of 21. Since she was already in Canada from august
2002 to November 2006 with a study permit, she had already shown proof
of her police clearance. After her graduation she came straight to Italy
for the marriage. All this is clearly shown in her passport.
Would it be enough in her case to attach just the Italian police
clearance certificate to her work permit application as she is an
Italian resident now?

Thank you so much for your attention.
