Subject: Urgent help - Effect of F1 rejection on H1B stamping ? Posted on: Thu, 1 Apr 2004 01:17:09 +0000 (UTC)

Hi,

I have my F1 visa rejected under section 214(b) thrice(I had gone to
USA on B1/B2 visa and changed status to F1 and was rejected F1
stamping when came back to India for stamping since i changed my
intend after coming to USA). Now, almost 2 years after that, I will be
going for H1B visa stamping. I have all the required documents for
H1-B stamping.
-Would my previous rejections affect my H1B visa stamping?
-Also, Do I expect questions about that in the interview now?
-Like F1 stamping, during H1-B interview, am I supposed to convince
the council officer that I am NOT a potantial immigrant?
-Also, do I need to carry any extra docuemnts?
