Man, I am going insane and broke here at the same time. Sitting at home
being unable to work is the most frustrating experience and nobody should be
subjected to it. The worst thing is that I have a pending job opportunity
with a Fortune 500 company that I am now in jeopardy of losing due to no
work permit. It really can make a person feel inadequate especially when one
should be the breadwinner of the family.
Anyway, here's my timeline thus far:
- Filed I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131 at the local St. Paul, MN office on
February 19th, 2004.
- Received NOA for all petitions/applications on March 2, 2004.
- Fingerprinted at the local ASC on March 6th, 2004.
Any suggestions as far as when I can expect my EAD? Does it come in the mail
or do I pick it up at the Bloomington office?
Thanks for any input whatsoever. I empathize with everyone are in the same
situation as me. Why in the world would the INS forward all applications to
a central office when they are more than capable of processing them locally?
I am sorry to vent but this seems absolutely outrageous and
counter-efficient.
On a lighter note, Go Timberwolves!
