I got and RFE for an advance parole I131, i submitted the response and
to my surprise the website was updated promptly indicating the have
received the RFE.
However the estimated timeframe to process seems to be the original
time (6 months). I was hoping that since this is an RFE it would just
be a couple of weeks. Anybody has any experience with TSC and RFEs?
Here is the message from the website:
On March 31, 2004, we received your response to our request for
evidence or information. It is taking between 220 and 250 days for us
to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing
was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the
maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on
this case.
