Question for all of you who say no UK citizens poses any threat to the
US (I agree the average honest one doesn't), and shame on the USA for
trying to protect herself.
**From what country did the "Shoe Bomber"
hold a passport?

This is the
21st century.....a few bad apples have spoilt the barrel for all of us
and things will not go back to being as free as they were. People need
to start to accept this, or don't, bury your heads in the sand and wait
for the next disaster.
From what I understand you now have to have
pictures on your driver's licences in the UK......this is a change from
the way it use to be.....so does that mean you feel offended and now
will refuse to drive......I think not.
Part of growing up is realising
that things change.......and you either change with them, or become
bitter, alone and miss out on things. I'm sure you can say you won't
miss out on anything not coming here to the US, but I certainly cannot
say that travelling anywhere other than my own country hasn't been a
wonderful and learning experience. I found England enchanting, as well
as France, Netherlands and Belgium. Mexico was also an
experience......Canada....well what can I say they were every so
friendly and enjoyed it throughly.
So for you to say stuff the US I
won't miss it. Maybe you won't, but if your attitude spreads to others
who've never been.....the natural beauty this country holds (I'm not
talking the silly amusement parks) would be a shame to not be able to
explore it, all for the sake of a new passport or fingerprints.
