I fully support National Identity Cards

Providing that these cards are the same size and material as a credit card.
At the very least, the card ought to show the thumbprint and photograph.
This is no different from carrying a credit card in your wallet.
There are far too many people wandering around who nobody knows who the hell they are
or how they got into the country.
There is a very good case for these cards to be carried by every citizen over the age of 18.
Consider these points :

[2] illegal immigrants
[3] illegal drugs trade
[4] crooked elections
