Universities are normally very good about attracting qualified faculty
from around the world, and are far more willing to put the time and
effort into sponsorship. The best way would be to find an American
university willing to sponsor you as a professor.

I don't think the
negative responses are justified in this case, although they may be for
most employment-based immigration queries.
