The fee increase came into effect on April 30, not May 1.
Your petition
will be returned to you for the both the correct filing fee and
fingerprint fee.
You can, of course, resubmit a new petition and new
checks in the correct amount and discard the old one when it is returned
or just wait for the old me to be returned (won't take long at all) and
resubmit that one with the correct checks.
