Subject: Not clear on Citizenship requirements Posted on: Thu, 20 May 2004 21:37:40 +0000

I live in California.

I am trying to find out the citizenship
requirements. I know that I should be a permanent resident for 5 yrs. I
got my 485 approval in Nov '99 and passport stamped in march '2000.
However the actual GC came in Feb '2001.

Since what date should I
calculate my 5 yrs of permanat residency?

Thanks in advance.
