sorry for the confusion Ray

yes my colleague (named Bunny) is trying to sort out her husbands
status in the US.

He came into the USA in September 2003, a Canadian citizen, and has
been here since, working illegally. They got married 3 months ago, and
now are trying to sort his status out. I told her to stop putting it
off, coz he's been here for over 6 months now. She keeps
procrastinating, mainly coz she used to work on the cruise ships for
years so didnt do her tax forms.

I said to her, I figured shed still need her tax forms even if her
sister sponsered her, but wanted to make sure.

What kind of trouble do u think hes in Ray at the moment? Even if he
filed now, would he be ok? Bunny thought about him getting a work
permit, but im guessing thats unlikely.

anyway, cheers Ray, and if anyone has things for me to pass on to her,
Id appreciate it.
