Once you are a esident of US, you must live here. But, you have a
right to go to achool anywhere.

What if you take the immigrant visa, enter US and get the greencard
(you get a stamp upon arrival; and then the green card in the mail)
and then go to school oversea? The detail requirement for residency
must be checked not to be considered that you abandon the greencard.

If I were you, try to delay immigrating US, i.e ask the consular how
much time you have before you must utilize your lotter and enter US.
If you get about 1 year, that's not a bad deal.

In fact, ask the consular office what's the best approach after
enetering US if you want to finsih school oversea.
