Subject: Does taking financial assistance for child care program affect immigration to US? Posted on: Tue, 14 Sep 2004 00:03:32 +0000 (UTC)

Hello,

I am an international graduate student in US and am applying for
financial assistance for child care program from my school (which is
called Child Care Subsidy for graduate student) and from other
sources. Later on if I apply for immigration to US, will mine taking
financial assistance for child care program now affect my application
for immigration? I heard that taking social welfare might have a
negative effect on the immigration application. Thank you for any
information.

Mike
