Hi guys,
I need some help quite bad!
I am both a UK citizen and Canadian citizen. I am currently in the US
using my UK passport on the visa waiver program (I am on my UK passport
because my new Canadian passport didn't reach me in time before I left
for the US).
I have to be out of the US by this coming Sunday, 19th of September
according to my I-94W card in my passport. Someone was supposed to be
booking me a flight out of the country but has gone AWOL on me, not
replying to emails and calls, etc.
I don't want to overstay my visa waiver, so how realistic is it for me
to drive across the border to Canada so I can get rid of my I-194 - stay
in Canada for a few hours - and then cross BACK over the border to the
US using my Canadian passport. This will buy me time and allow me to get
my flight sorted out. I have to come back over because I don't really
have anywhere to stay in Canada. Not anyone thats near anyway.
I know no one can really give me a for sure answer, but I am likely to
be able to pull this off? I will just say I am visiting friends/family
for a few days.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you so much.
(I have posted this to Canadian Immigration also)
