I know that if you have your EAD card with you, and if it has been over 180
days since you applied for I-485 and EAD, then you can switch jobs as long
as you are in the same job description and preferably same job title.
However, I want to find out if I-140 approval is also a condition for
switching jobs on top of what I mentioned above.
Can someone at least point me in the right direction?
Sure. Here you go.

If you've worked your way through these, you'll be an AC21 expert!
You will see that changing jobs before I-140 approval is risky, even if the
I-485 has been pending for 180 days or more.
