Wait just a minute! First I just would like to know why you have
interest on banning amnesty to illegal aliens? First, Although I am
not a Mexican, but a South American (some people couldn't really tell
the difference)I am concerned that you are putting a strong emphasis
on this subject without giving a good reason? Let me tell you about
the amnesty act that was passed in 1988 by you know who? Yes, Ronald
Reagan.
The reason for this amnesty to take place was because at the time in
California there was not one soul who wanted to pick g.s for $ 2 an
hour, but you know what? Mexicans did. At the same time in Florida,
oranges, in Washington State, apples and so on...
Honestly, I can see were you are coming from with your comments due to
the overpopulation of Mexicans in the country. But in reality I don't
think you or anyone you know would want to do that type of job for a
whopping $ 4 an hour (a good pay rise huh!). Directly, this people are
putting your everyday food in your table and in mine and at the same
time helping the economy in this area. Honestly, even I would want to
work for $ 40 for a sun-up to a sundown shift on anything! (12 hours
of work per day).
