Hi, I am currently on an F1 VISA and am travelling home in December
for a short visit. I have already purchased a round trip ticket to fly
home and return. While there, I intended to renew my VISA and return
in January to resume school.
However, now, I am planning to come back on the same date, just this
time without the F1 VISA, and will stay instead 90 days on the Visa
Waiver Program (I am from Ireland so this should work)
My question is, will using that same ticket be a problem, since I
won't have a return ticket and this time will be a tourist? I intend
to purchase a ticket to Ireland once in the US. Will I be allowed to
enter the US on the Visa Waiver Program, with a single ticket?
