Only in a narrow sense. The people who benefit from cheap labor are
the people who make campaign contributions. The rest of us continue to
pay to subsidize this.
I have suggested in the past that if employers of illegals had to pay
all their social costs, especially health care and education, they
would hire Americans instead. |
