Once she moves outside the US to live elsewhere her GC is at risk. You
should get some professional advice (from a good immigration attorney)
about this if you want her to be able to keep a GC while holding
Canadian PR.
Canada doesn't care about where you actually *live* so long as you meet
the physical presence requirements (730 days in every 5 years).
How far are you both away from being eligible for US or Canadian
citizenship? Have you thought about whether it would be feasible to
live on opposite sides of the US/Canada border until one of you is
eligible for citizenship?
