Hi,
I am glad to find this site and hope some kind soul can give me the
answer to this:
I have just received my notice from the Immigration Service that the
conditional basis on my permanent resident status has been approved. It
also says that I "should not travel outside the US before receiving my
new card unless I have first received a passport endorsement from this
service indicating that (my) new card is being processed".
I also received a few months back a notice letter stating that my
application had been received and that my work and travel were
extended 1 year.
I have a ticket to go to London for Christmas, leaving this Friday, and
have received this letter today. I am supposed to make an appointment
online but when I try it says :At this time, there are no information
appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back
again later. "
So my question is: Do I need to get this stamp, provided my
previous letter of a couple of months ago states that my travel is
extended one year?
Thanks for any advice - I am getting nervous now...
Nico
