Subject: Son turns 18 before Permanent Residency Given Posted on: Fri, 31 Dec 2004 03:16:11 +0000

Hi all, and Happy New Year!

My husband's attorney has filed our application for Labor Certification,
a long haul I know! I have a query though, my eldest son is 13 and by
the time the LC and the rest of the process is complete, he'll probably
be around 18. So say my husband is accepted as a permanent resident
what will happen to my son if he is over 18? I'm presuming that he
won't be allowed to stay in the USA under my husband application? This
is really worrying me. Can anyone throw some light on this for me
please. Many thanks! (For your information I have three children, 13,
10 and 7).
