Dear Forum,
Last October i was returning from San Pedro Sula (Honduras) to London Via
Miami. I was only changing planes at Miami but the officer at the desk
deemed it necessary to take me to a room with numerous other people in it,
ask me personal and infringing questions. They then proceeded to take my
finger prints, picture etc and register me.
Anyhow this was all happening at around 4.30pm, and my connecting flight was
leaving at 5.00pm with all my bagge on it.
They said that i had to register myself out of the country before i left the
airport.
Anyway within that time frame i could not.
When i got back to London i called the appropriate people at Miami airport
to explain my situation, she said that it would not effect my chances of
entering the US again. Is this true?
She also said for me to keep the boarding pass to prove i had left the US at
that time.
Im going to NY in a month, just want to know if i'll be ok.
Thanks in advance...
Zak
