As I said before, once you change employer, your new employers
attorney/or one you hire yourself should have sent to him your file from
your previous employers attorney. I expect it has all the details about
your LC and how that was approved, details about your medical / copy of
shots, date administered.... and of-course the I140 paperwork, which has
their financial details proving they can pay your prevailing wage. If
you change employers you are likely to be hit with an RFE concerning the
position you have, job decription, and how much you're earning, they
check to see it is compatible with your originally filed labor.
All you need to do is be patient with the I140, and remember the 180
days is from date of filing, not from when the I140 is approved. If you
don't have it get your LIN number for the I140. Then track it on BCIS
web site. Also keep tabs on fingerprint notification. You need to
provide those, and a letter should be sent to you or your present
attorney with the appointment date. It varies but usually that comes
just before, or soon after the I140 is approved.
