AMAS, you were told one truth and one total lie.
The TRUTH - "US Gov does not send US citizens away"
The TOTAL LIE - "and does not like to split the family either"
Just read every other post on all the immigration boards, split families
is the norm. I'm sure your pretty smart and if YOU really sit down and
think about it, you will easily see why it has to be a lie you were
told. Simply put, if there were exceptions, millions of people would
come here just to have their baby and it would be the fastest route to
immigration for those millions.
US Gov. will insist you leave (unless you find another legal
route to stay).
On reflection both could be seen as the TRUTH since it would be YOU, not
US Government who would "split the family" if you left your kids behind!
