Subject: I-94 Posted on: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 17:49:43 +0000 (UTC)

I am working on an H1b visa. My employer has filed for the extension
and the pettition has been approved. I received the form I-797 back
with a new I-94 attached at the bottom of I-797. It will last another
3 years. My previous I-94, however, will be expired in about a month. I
am wondering if I have to go out of the country and get the new I-94
stamped when I enter the country. Or I can just stay in the country
without having the new one stamp at the port of entry.

Thanks for your help
