All this is irrelevant!

If over the last 5 years 49,999 Irish immigrated to the US then Ireland
still qualifies for the DV.

If over the last 5 years 50,001 British immigrate to the US then Britain
no longer qualifies for the DV for that year.

How those numbers are made up, AOS, Marriage, Family does not matter.
