Thanks. My British uncle lives in the US and is married to an American
citizen (of Ecuadorian immigrant origins). He has two US children by a
previous marriage to another American citizen and two more children
with the current marriage, one of which was born in the US and one of
which was born in the UK, but I believe also holds US citizenship. I
am not positive as to the status of my uncle. He may have abandoned
his LPR status when he moved back to the UK a few years ago. He has
since returned to the US and I was wondering whether it would be wise
to add him and his family to Question 7 where it talks about "close
family members."
I was also unsure whether "close family members" actually meant
immediate relatives (parents, siblings) or whether uncles,aunts and
cousins counted.
