I'm not a lawyer of course, but it would appear to me that she is
diluting any reasonable cause of action to annul the marriage on the
basis that she asserts you entered the marriage solely for immigration
purposes, while at the same time she was pressing you to act as obligor
on a mortgage of her property. If anything, from a layperson's
viewpoint, that would suggest to me that she might have been willing to
permit the marriage to continue as long as she was to gain financially.
Sorry, but this doesn't make sense to me. Either way, if the situation
is as you state, please stop worrying about whether she has
misrepresented her marital status on a mortgage application and start to
strategise your defence.
How long have you been married? Since she filed the complaint for
annulment have you spent the night in her home or in the same house?
