OH MY YES.........the reason you are stuck is because the LCA stuff is
hung up in whatever state employment office that actually is supposed
to certifiy the wage. In some states that backlog can continue for
years and years. PERM bypasses the state nonsense and should have you
on track within weeks, or 3-4 months. And the PERM regs do allow
employers to switch the LCA apps from the old system to the PERM system
while keeping the priority date. I say go for it!!

Go to www.doleta.gov and you should be able to do a search for PERM and
find out quite a bit of good stuff.
