Subject: Toronto: U.S. Visa Appointment Reservation for yet-to-arrive visitors to Canada Posted on: Fri, 27 May 2005 04:46:01 +0000 (UTC)

Hi,

My parents and sister (citizens of India) are arriving Toronto in
June'05 for a less than two-month stay. Is it OK to reserve visa
appointments for them (via the web) for visitor visas, at the American
Consulate in Toronto, before they arrive or do they have to be
physically present in Toronto before the reservation can be made? It's
not feasible for them to apply for American visa back in India.
