Subject: J1 Visa from the U.K

My wife has just been accepted on a J1 visa which entitles us to be in
the US for 3 years. This also allows me to work during this period. And
then we must return back to the UK.

Any suggestions how we could stay after the 3 years. What would happen
if we have a child over there...
Would it help our case?

Please help. We are running out of suggestion.
