Teen mom and I-130 petition Posted on: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 02:59:57 +0000

A teenage girl was originally petitioned by her US citizen step-dad when
she was 15 years old. Her I-130 petition went through and now the step-
dad is at the stage of sending in the I-864 Affidavidt of support, but
she had a baby 2 months ago and the child was originally not listed on
the I-130 with the girl since she was obviously not pregnant. Will they
allow the child to come with the teen mom who is now 17 years old? We
are listing the child on the I864 but are worried about whether they
will not allow the 17 year not come at all or without her baby. The i-
864 will more than cover the two.
