I am not sure if you would need a reentry permit if you do plan to enter
the US every 4-6 months. I would think you do not need one. If you do
apply for a reentry permit, you would have to start from scratch one to
apply for your N-400 (quite sure about it, but i am sure someone else
has exact knowledge about this matter).
