Subject: Is CPT required for off-campus volunteering oppurtunity? Posted on: Wed, 20 Jul 2005 20:06:10 -0400

Hello all,

I am an International Student doing my Masters in Electrical Engineering. I
would like to know if I need Curriculum Practical Training (CPT) in order to
work as a volunteer for an off-campus company. The job is related to my
field of study but I will be working at the company in a volunteering
capacity i.e. not getting paid in any way.

Any advice would be appreciated.
