Using Advance Parole after AOS interview? Posted on: Sun, 7 Aug 2005 21:26:45 +0000 (UTC)

Hi,

I have AOS interview in September, and i am wondering if i'll be able
to use my AP to travel oversees after the interview till i get my
passport stamped for GC? Or, if my passport is stamped, can i travel
using this stamp without the plastic Green card? I need to travel for
couple of months immediately after my interview.

I have heard these days passport usually doesn't get stamped for GC at
the interview even if applicant passes the interview because of pending
FBI checks. Is that true?

If so, then it means that i still need my AP to travel after that, but
i don't know if the interviewing officer will ask me to return the AP
on interview date without stamping passport or not; or, if there are
any other restrictions on travelling. Any body knows anything about it?

thx, edi
