It appears you are a bit confused by it all.. you do not file your US
citizen does.... She could start tomorrow..you do not need to be here at
all..
Then eventually after more paperwork you will be interviewed at you home
country US embassy ..then you get the K-1 visa .. then you get here and
get married within 90 days.. then you can apply for AOS, work permits
etc..
