Information required about setting up a business Posted on: Mon, 15 Aug 2005 12:21:56 +0000

Hi

I wonder if someone would be able to give me some help with the
following.

I would like to set up a business in the USA but not quite sure how to
go about it with regards to visas. I have recently graduated from a
university with a 1st class degree. My mother is a US resident (through
marriage to my American Step-dad). So could I use either of these
situations to enter to US in order to start my business? I have read
somewhere that a lawful US resident can petition for a family member to
come to the US but does the still apply as I am over 21?

What type of visa should I think about applying for?

Thanks in advance
