A B-1 or B-2 visa does not USUALLY authorize employment in the U.S.
Housekeeper is an exception, however she still need an employment
authorization document - she should apply for it using form I-765.
She can extend her stay by either leaving and reentering or by using form
I-539. You can find all the forms at
http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm
