I know the difference without having to look it up. Your friend robbed.
He took what he did not have a right to take because he was here
illegally. Regardless of paying rent, that apartment could have gone to
one of the homeless men, women or families who have no place to live.
Yes, they might be on welfare but they needed the apartment and had a
right to it because they are here in the US legally. Your friend took
that right away from them.
Of course I get it and now I know where you are from and where your
friend is from. I use NYC transportation 5 days a week because I work
in NYC. I work legally btw.
A true man would not have done something illegal to start with.
Glad he was stupid enough to have gotten caught.
