It makes no sense to me. A couple of months ago it jumped from October
2004 to November 2003 and at the time I wondered if that was a typo on
the year, but if it is then it hasn't been corrected yet. I read on
another forum that they create an average date based on pending
applications (i.e. those who are held up by fingerprint / name checks).
My adjustment of status was processed in line with the online processing
date but the citizenship date is pretty useless it seems.

BTW, in case you don't know about it, the forum I mention is at
