If she wants to file the petitionly only (use I-130); no financial
affidavit required but as a parent of USC child, if you are inside US,
you can apply for greencard via adjustment of status (use I-485) as
well as work permit, etc. at the same time she files I-130 and if you
do, you will need financial affidavit form her.
