Subject: So confused, plese help Posted on: Sun, 29 Jan 2006 02:27:17 +0000

 Hi, I am hoping someone, ANYONE can help me here. I got
married in 2003 to a USC. We were together for 6 months before marriage
and until recently (we have agreed to a non-legal separation a.k.a. we
need space)(we have been married for 2 years, 3 months). I found out
that he has been cheating on me with his son's mother for quite
sometime. I went on vacation a few weeks ago and fell in love all over
again with my high school sweetheart. Upon my return, my husband and I
agreed to a divorce. He wants to be with his son's mother and I want
another chance to be with my first love. I want to marry my guy but i
am in the US and he is back in my homeland. Am I allowed to remarry
after going through the immigration process that allowed me to obtain
LPR? If I marry him outside of the US will he be allowed to move here
with me? I am not a USC, just an LPR so I know I may be faced with some
difficulties. My main concern is what happens if I remarry a non USC
with me just having LPR status? I don't want to get in trouble with the
USCIS but I want to marry the person that I have dreamt of marrying
since i was 12. Please someone, please help!
