I am putting this for my friend:
Dear experts and group members any ideas and individual
experiences/suggestions are highly appreciated. Here is the situation.
His application for H1B1 extension was pending and approved before the
expiry of the old H1b. During this pending period he visted outside US and
came back as he had valid Visa. Now he has new I-94 ( old expiry date) on my
passport and he also received new approval notice (I-979) with old I-94
number( which valid till next year) on it after he come back in USA.
1. Now, Doe he need to do anything as I-94 number has changed and one in
passport has already expired.
2. If Yes, what is the procedure and any affect on his work/approval status
?..please advice.
