Hi, I was enrolled in college in the US this Spring but had to quit 8
weeks into my program,. My f1 visa was pulled, but my whole time there I
did abide my all their rules yet both my school and the US immigration
from Canada said that I am risking being banned from being granted entry
to the US even as a vistor on vacation now? Is this true?? They said I
might not be granted access to go there even as a visitor. Anyone know
the facts on this?
I quit my school on good terms, paid them the fee's I owed them, so when
they pulled my F1 visa because I had asked them to. I was given W's in
all my courses (I dont know if thats a bad thing.
I also handed in my I-94 a few days late after I left the US for back
home because I forgot to hand ti in at the airport, but I just did that
yesterday (14 days after i came home), the US immigration officer said
it was fine and that I wouldn't hasve any future immigration problems
because he himself said they only ban people from the US in severe
cases.
Is mine severe?
So now you know how I quit, lets say if I wanted to work down there for
a employer next year, am I able to get a work visa at all (if I wanted
to work in the USA in the future, like in a year)?
I was told for Canadians they can just apply at the border. I read that
on some website.
