Subject: 45 Day letter to the Previous employer

Hi,

My previous employer had filed for ETA 750 in Aug' 2004 and have now
received a 45-day letter which needs to be replied to by May 15th '06.

I have switched jobs and am with a different company. My 6 years of H1B
get over on November 17th 2006.

My question is - Can I use this 45 day letter to file for a 7th year H1
extension even if the previous employer decides to close the LC
application.
