To an Immigration Attorney,

The First Family Preference for Europe has now been stuck on April 2001 for
10 months, and that due to 245(i). My stepdaughter is had a priority date of
August 2002, and it is my understanding the months should start progressing
rapidly again. Also, there is legislation for legal immigrants which should
double the number in the family reunification area. Can you confirm this?
