Subject: Complex questions! Posted on: Tue, 20 Jun 2006 23:06:55 +0000

Hi there

We are Canadian permanent residents living in Canada but UK citizens and
my husband will possibly be offered a job based in the US for a company
who has a head office in the UK and another in the US. Will he be able
to carry on living in Canada but visit his clients in the US? Can he
accept a contract from the US office without any visa requirements or
would it be best to get it drafted from the UK office. What about
getting paid, will it be a problem to get paid in US funds?

He can apply for his Canadian citizenship in about a years time, would
that make things a whole lot easier for working for this company?

Thanks for your time.
