He would be working for the company and covering Canada and the US. He
would be based from a home office in Canada and just visiting clients in
the US from time to time.
The residency is fine, we don't have to be employed by a canadian
company to live in Canada as we are permanent residents and as long as
we maintain residency as 2 years out of 5 that covers that.
Then T visa would be something he might do in the future after he has
become a Canadian citizen next year.
I guess it sounds like it is possible if he is employed by the UK side
of the company.
I think for an L visa he has to be employed for a year by the company so
the could be a possibility too if he could just get by the first year.
