Hi all,
I'm writing on behalf of my best friend back in Toronto (a Canadian
citizen) who's planning on visiting my wife and I down here this
November.
What we're planning on doing is for him to take the train down from
Toronto the week before Thanksgiving, spend some time here then we
drive him back to Toronto and stay up there for a few days over the US
holiday (after which we come back here on our own).
As such, he's only going to need a 1-way ticket down (since we're
going to drive him back up to Canada a few days later).
I'm concerned that he'll run into problems with the folks at the US
border with a one-way ticket. He's not a frequent traveller by any
menas, and has only been to the US twice in his life before, thus he's
somewhat intimidated by the prospect of being turned away.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
